Now, in a recent article, he essentially advocates for the elimination of the unattractive, disabled, socially awkward, and mentally unstable. Hitler's hatred for Jews (and Communists) was matched only by his hatred for societal outcasts like these. How much more Hitler-like can you get?

Ironically, of course, Hitler was an unattractive (albeit charismatic) "loser"-type who wouldn't be welcomed into his own idealized society. Bardamu, without question, fits into the same category. I do not know if Bardamu openly identifies as a Nazi, but the similarities are striking regardless.

Cowardly, self-loathing scum like Hitler and Bardamu deserve only to reap what they sow in life.

Ferdinand Bardamu, the administrator of a racist/gamer/Real Man website entitled "In Mala Fide", has recently instructed his minions to hunt out, stalk, and "beat down" any Aspie or "loser" blogs such as this one, in order to drive people like me to suicide. One of his minions has happily obliged and come here to do his duty, threats and all.

As previously entries to this blog indicate, I am an exceptionally vulnerable individual. Such attempts at psychological torture do indeed achieve their goal (to a degree). Being an adult male does not make me an unaffected, emotionless robot.

There's no activity that children enjoy more than sniffing out the weak and vulnerable child amongst the group and proceeding to sadistically torture that child. I first discovered I was born with Asperger's Syndrome a little over eighteen months ago. I quickly sought out and discovered several online "communities" relating to Asperger's, with Wrong Planet appearing to be the biggest. So, I joined and shared some of my life experiences with them.

For simply describing some of my experiences and hardships in life as an Asperger's male specifically, I was quickly banned.

Now, I do regret much of my wording there and the title (and initial direction) I chose for the topic was atrocious. However, I was attempting to be coy about the root cause of my suffering as an outcast male and not mention feminism or misandry specifically. Feminism has such far-reaching tentacles in modern society that I knew not to cast a single word directly against it, or I'd certainly face persecution. But it wasn't enough. It needs to be repeated: I was banned (permantly IP banned at that!) for describing my problems in life as an Asperger's male. At an Asperger's website. Not a feminist website.

(Note also that wrongplanet.net has a forum dedicated to "Women's Discussion" with this description: "This is a place where women can feel safe to be themselves. "Having a male gynecologist is like going to an auto mechanic who doesn't own a car."" The clear implication being that men are dangerous and make women feel unsafe. Naturally, there is no such forum for men, despite the fact that the vast, vast majority of Aspies are male.)

Wrongplanet.net is just one of many pieces of evidence showing how feminist agents have invaded virtually all sectors of modern society and diligently police thoughtcrime within those sectors. If nothing else, this debacle quickly squashed any sense of kinship I may have had with my fellow Aspies as a whole. And the sooner I was to learn that lesson, the better.

The first thing they need to do is jettison a LOT of baggage, and focus on attacking feminism in a hard, narrow, focused way.

This will likely happen in the future as more anti-male laws are passed and the more male life is demonized in society.

On a somewhat random (yet related) note, it seems to me the number of drooling dimwits within the men's rights movement is great indeed, and increasing. (Yet, intellectual heavyweights are also present in disproportionate numbers to society at large. Perhaps this mirrors males as compared to females on the whole.)

On many, many occasions MRAs and other anti-feminists have made statements which have personally disgusted me. Actually, I'll go further. A large portion of the people on my "side" of this war personally sicken me.

Daran of Feminist Critics: A Fifth Column

Have you encountered this shameful man? This "Daran" fellow? Have you encountered his shameful website? FeministCritics.org?

Daran pretends to be a "feminist critic". So, he occasionally writes about things such as men and boys being killed and raped in wars in greater numbers than women, domestic violence against men, the prison industrial complex etc.

But what is Daran's real agenda? Well, if you look at the top-right portion of Feminist Critics, you'll see an article titled "What Feminism Got Right". But those of us who pay attention to what feminism's actions are rather than listen to its self-proclamations know that feminism is a female supremacist hate movement. Last time I checked, hate movements don't get anything right.

What's more, Daran coddles and protects any feminist who comes to his site, no matter how radical they may be. He even allowed a radfem, who declared (without humor) that she wanted all males castrated, to make a guest post to Feminist Critics. His pretense behind this is that he wants honest, prolonged debate with feminists, and that he desperately wishes to prove to them that not all "feminist critics" are evil misogynists. The logic behind this is appalling, as any intelligent person realizes, within a few days of observing female supremacists, no rational debate is possible with them.

Daran even has the mandatory male feminist lapdog named "ballgame" patrolling his site. If any commenter at Feminist Critics even slightly upsets a feminist, they are scolded by Daran or ballgame and possibly banned. You see, all feminists are seen by Daran as wonderful, precious gems who must be retained at all costs. Toy Soldier, a former Feminist Critics blogger, quit the blog because he felt his presence there might be "disruptive". Anyone who's read Toy Soldier's stuff knows he's about as mild-mannered and neutral as you can get, but he apparently just wasn't nice enough to the feminists for Daran.

The end result of all this idiocy is that Feminist Critics differs very little from a typical feminist website!

One of Daran's main goals is to paint all MRAs as brutish, unintelligent misogynists who should be avoided at all costs by using selected quotations from the cruder segment of the MRM and ignoring the rest. In this way, he's very similar to the execrable Manboobz. And for this, I hold somewhat of a personal grudge against Daran, for I foolishly believed his lies about the MRM, and this delayed my discovery of enlightening material by years.

Men Are Always The Enemy

So, I just made this little rant at The Spearhead. The only reason I did so was because a large portion of the commenters there have right-wing leanings, and I'm sick of certain people conflating Men's Rights issues with racialist, nationalist, or xenophobic ideas. In retrospect, the rant was ill-suited to that article's comments and is better suited to this blog:

Notice how anti-immigration ideologues always portray the invading hordes as all male. Never female.

Comes in with a presupposition the reader is meant to agree with: Japanese-made RPGs are inferior, if Gamestop, IGN, and the rest of us brainwashers, er, "professional" game reviewers repeat this lie ad naseum it must be the truth. Supports propaganda with logical fallacies and blatant lies: Final Fantasy XIII is so totally bad, and as we all know, the FF series represents all JRPGs, therefore all JRPGs are bad. Concludes with more lies to set up future propaganda: I'll give just this one JRPG a pass, but the evil Japanese and their games are inferior to Westerners, so all future Japanese game must do more than Western games to receive a fair rating.

Now, here's the question: Is Ashton Liu simply an indoctrinated sheep following IGN/Gamestop's lead, or is he invested in his anti-Japan hate campaign for personal reasons? Judging by his stubborn stance, I'd guess the latter.

Thanks for the link. It was interesting, although I only made it through about two-thirds before I gave up.

First off, if you're suggesting that I despise Western "criticism" of Japan because I'm a "moral isolationist", then you do not understand my viewpoints. I feel that I have a reasonable understanding of modern Japanese (and Korean) societies and my fondness for them derives from what I observe and experience, not their supposedly exotic or alien natures.

Most of the anti-Japan and anti-Asian propaganda pieces are not simply honest criticisms, but rather orchestrated attempts to demonize and dehumanize the people (mostly the males, as always). The Western populace is not only willing, but eager and thrilled to consume it. In the American landscape, the blacks are off-limits. The Jews are off-limits. Even the Hispanics are becoming off-limits. Where does the hate-filled tribalist turn to confirm his own self-worth and superiority? Why, East Asians and Arabs of course!

And why does it make me so angry? Because this is why millions of people are murdered. Because this is why people have their brains spill out and their bodies mutilated. Because this is why those nuclear bombs were dropped. Dehumanization is the number one weapon in warfare. Number one. War is different today. The murdering cowards don't even have to see the people they slaughter. You're right that I shouldn't have been so dismissive of Richie without reading any of his books. I also found both his commentary for Ozu's Early Summer and the interview with him on "Midnight Eye" to be enjoyable and insightful. However, his commentary for Criterion's "Crazed Fruit" is rather irritating. He seems to be obsessed with teaching the audience about Japanese society (which based on my observations I disagree with) while barely addressing the film. It's admittedly a bit ridiculous to judge someone based on a single commentary, but I have similar feelings about Tony Rayns.

I'd much rather that you disregard what I wrote, watch the film yourself and then come back here to post your own thoughts about it.

As I already noted, I have no interest in watching this film if your review is at all accurate. In addition to the self-loathing pandering to Westerners, I find cheap shots taken at the Aum cult to be particularly troubling after viewing the magnificent, life-changing A and A2 documentaries.

However, I cannot let your comment about my comment about 'evil traditional Confucianism' pass without comment. On a personal level, that arose from observing my (Japanese) wife being bullied by her (Japanese) boss and therefore some familiarity with sarariman no bunka which is informed, in my view, by a warped version of the Neo-Confucianism that also influenced the conduct of the Japanese military in WW2 as extensively chronicled by Brian Daizen Victoria in his book Zen War Stories.

Frankly, East Asian women married (or otherwise attached) to Western men commonly have skewed, self-loathing mindsets. I also find that some of most hateful, racist/culturalist vitriol is spewed by people who will inevitably mention "by the way, my girlfriend is Chinese" etc. (This is not intended to be a personal insult, nor am I implying that you or your wife fit into these categories. It's just that your personal implications do not phase me.)

Have you ever noticed how the vast majority of the rampant racial hatred toward East Asian peoples in the West is directed toward males? This is nothing new or different. It comes from the old "kill the men, abduct and rape the women" war strategy.

I hadn't realized up until now that Victoria was a comic writer rather than a respected author and commentator operating from within the Soto Zen tradition. But then Richie has only been living in the country since 1947 and that is hardly long enough for a gaijin to gain any insight into the Japanese mind and heart.

This post strongly resonates with me, although I only suffered physical (and mental) abuse.

Like you, I go through "night problems" in spells, and I can honestly say that the dreams are sometimes so intense that they traumatize me nearly as much as the actual events did. Certain types of fictional (or occasionally real) characters in video games, TV shows, or movies trigger immediate memories. Just the sight, sound, or mention of a gun is enough to make my forehead throb. Worst of all, the simple act of looking in the mirror, and seeing the disgusting horns coming out of my forehead and the blackness around my eyes will forever be a reminder.

Severe childhood abuse + being born with a mental defect + being born male in this society is a brutal, fatal combination. There is no hope and no help for us. We will eternally be fucked in life.

At this stage I began to realize how much Japanese youth probably feel resentful of the strictures of their own society and have an inarticulate awareness of the failure of authority as represented by the father figures in the film, institutional religion (represented by Catholicism) alternative religions (the Zero Church being a thin cipher for Aum Shinri Kyo), and possibly even the shallowness of their own pop culture. Prior to that, of course, you have the nationalism of WW2. So - without giving too much away for people who haven't seen this film - the profoundly humanistic tone of the actual text of 1 Corinthians 13 and the way in which the movie offers an alternative to the failed Japanese Dream via its recognition and acceptance of dysfunctionality really got to me. I could put this less intellectually and much more directly but in doing so it would give the reader too much of an indication of how this film is going to end. Lastly, my understanding of Japanese society is that it is partly about the impossible task trying to be the perfect son, the perfect father, the perfect daughter, the perfect member of society etc. so I loved the anti-perfectionistic, anti-Confucian and anti-utopian thrust of the film.

Having re-read this post, it sounds to me that I have written something that just comes across like a badly composed Film Studies essay.

Me:

Not really, it just seems to be the same regurgitated "look how bad those Orientals' inferior culture really is!" propaganda circulated for the past 100 years or so. It could've easily come directly from a "professional" film review. Here's a random comment on some random blog that resonated with me. So, I'm archiving it here. I like using other people's words because I'm speech-retarded and commonly come off sounding like a 13-year-old. As I've explained before. Um, anyway...

Despite all the doomsaying, I think RPGs are evolving at more or less the same rate as other genres, it's just a problem with perception because Japanese RPGs are refusing to follow American trends. They've pioneered new and interesting ways of tackling multiplayer (DQ9, Demon's Souls), new leveling systems (The World Ends With You, every Final Fantasy except 4), new ways of structuring the game (TWEWY, Persona 3), etc. We've also seen a diversity of settings and themes that is on par compared to other genres: from traditional fantasy fare to space operas, to demonic overlords, to highschoolers with mysterious powers. If we're honest, fantasy tropes and teen protagonists are no more or less overplayed than gruff space marines and anti-heroes. Final Fantasy 7 and Half-Life came out a year apart. Can we really say that FPSes have evolved more in the intervening 11 years than RPGs have in 12?

Back when I first experienced Nocturne, I remember thinking "Ah, finally a company that provides accurate, unaltered, and flowing translations".

But, inevitably, I see Atlus USA have taken the final step in succumbing to the wishes of the vast horde of infantile racists and xenophobes known as "the video game community". They have altered the main character of Strange Journey from being a Japanese soldier to a white, American soldier.

Don't be fooled by the current anti-Japan wave. It's just a smokescreen. If, say, China or Korea or Malaysia or Singapore were as financially viable and exporting media in the same way Japan currently is, they would face the same bullshit. This is all about race and racism only.

I wouldn't be surprised, if Atlus USA someday becomes viable enough to start making their own games, they go straight to the imperialist American propaganda "murder as many gooks/Japs/chinks/sand niggers as you can within the time limit" genre, like most other Western companies. I'm not being sarcastic or exaggerating here; it's a serious possibility.

One thing's for sure: I'll never buy an Atlus USA product again.

(Note: There's a very small possibility this idea may have come from Kazuma Kaneko or Atlus Japan themselves. If so, nothing in my post fundamentally changes. Greedy traitors and racists aren't far apart in my eyes.)

The Tragedy of Sakura no Dance

Sadly, much like I Stand Alone, there are no completely satisfactory versions of this Number Girl song (despite their being quite a decent quantity to choose from, unlike I Stand Alone).

Album Version: It's pretty good, but SGDA is by far their worst album in terms of mixing and sound quality. No songs on this album are allowed to shine in their studio versions.

6/22/99: Atrocious sound quality. The drums can barely be heard. Also has a certain overall sloppiness found in many early Number Girl performances.

8/21/99: Very similar to 6/22, maybe even less clear, performance is still sloppy.

9/27/99: One of the best. Tabuchi's guitar work is sublime here. However, Mukai's vocals are some of his worst; he sounds as if he's stumbling along rather drunkenly (which I'm guessing he was). Really mars the performance.

10/1/99: This one is probably the best overall. Mukai's best vocals on Sakura no Dance. All instruments very clear with nice sound quality. The major problem is that Tabuchi screws up twice near the beginning, at pivotal points. She sort of has the lead in this song, so it really throws the rest of the performance somewhat off-kilter. Mukai's "Fuck you!" at the end is also rather unnecessary.

6/24/01: An experimental "dub" version, similar to Destruction Baby. It's alright I guess, but doesn't compare favorably to the original.

7/20/02: The difference in Mukai's voice is almost comically apparent at this late stage. I actually think it works quite well with Sakura no Dance, though, and this performance is quite solid. However, the sound quality is shockingly awful again. Tabuchi's guitar is totally smothered in the background.

Sakura no Dance remains one of my NG favorites, but I just can't listen to it as much others because of the lack of a perfect rendition.

I had a conversation with someone about this after reading Kaneko's comments, and we were initially of different mindsets but my friend eventually mostly brought me around to their way of thinking.

With regards to the idea of appealing to people outside of Japan, my initial thoughts were these: Kaneko seemed to think that Tokyo was a good setting for the Japanese audience because it gave them an environment that, even when no longer recognizable, had a tangible connection to them. However, in terms of western players without that kind of connection to Tokyo, I don't think the setting ever served to alienate a potential player. The core SMT games were never... oppressive? overbearing? about their Japaneseness in the same way that, say, Kuzunoha Raidou or Persona 3 and 4 are. So... setting the games outside of Japan isn't going to give any international players the sense of connectedness that Tokyo gives to Japanese players (since, naturally, very few people feel connected to Antarctica as a place) and it's not going to serve to remove a block or alienation factor for anyone else. But her point was that the main cast of the game isn't Japanese this time around, either, so it's more than just the setting -- you're dealing with an international crew who are all going to the same place: Antarctica. What's more, Antarctica is foreign to everyone. There's a mystery to it, right? Even though we as a civilization have explored it pretty thoroughly at this point, it's so far removed from the world that we exist in even though it's on the same planet. So I think the idea is that these people of different nationalities all go there, and they're all on equal footing because it's equally mysterious to each of them, and rather than feeling connected to the place, we can feel more connected to their experiences.

Hunt looked atrocious against Birmingham and Hull don't look like scoring many goals anytime soon, period. Essien just hasn't been starting regularly, and hasn't done much even when he has.

I had real trouble deciding between Huddlestone, Lennon, Darren Fletcher and Ryan Giggs. The attitude of most American "EPL" fans sickens me. That's because they aren't really EPL fans, rather Big Four fans.

I truly fear that it will become difficult to view non-Big Four EPL matches in the near future. For instance, these "fans" are begging for the demise of Setanta Sports so they can get their precious HD. That will mean fewer EPL games (not to mention the total disappearance of the Championship), and we all know the Big Four aren't going anywhere.

What a match from Burnley. They have some real magic about them this year, don't they?

Burnley were undeniably weak in the first half (including some flashes of Andre Bikey's bad side) and were lucky to go in level. They started the second half the same way, but the introductions of Chris Eagles and David Nugent changed the entire flow of the match. Nugent's two goals speak for themselves, but Eagles also really looked a class above the other players on the pitch. His paciness down the right side created Nugent's breakthrough goal. Both men should be starting at White Hart Lane next week.

Turf Moor is turning into a genuine fortress. I doubt the Clarets can keeps this up all season, but here's hoping.

At the end of the Hull match, the first half of Stoke match, and the second half of the Stoke match too. I counted two significant stoppages in the first half. That calls for eight minutes?! Likewise, one significant stoppage in the second half translates to five minutes? Looks like Lampard, Terry, Drogba, and Trashley Cole's referee group hugs have been paying off. Believe it or not, my uniquely extremist vein of Asiaphilia has caused me more suffering over the past three years or so than my own personal experiences. I've taken up and internalized it to that degree. I am truly stupid for harming myself in this way, but there's no way to escape at this point. I'm in too deep. Now, I truly think it unlikely that another person on this planet has taken up an extremist level of Asiaphilia in the same way that I have. What could lead me to such a "bizarre" and unique status?:

1) The tendency of those with Asperger's to attach themselves to pet obsessions.

2) My lack of a "real life".

3) I have always since I can remember felt empathy for those who are given unjust treatment, demonized, and have no voice. Highly connected to 1 and 2.

Being deemed a "race traitor" is one of the most harmful badges one can carry in this society, and indeed may invite abuse if revealed publicly. But as I am already considered a bottom-rung status male, I don't feel I have much to lose in this regard. I already invite abuse for that fact alone. However, simply being exposed to the continuous, unavoidable flow of anti-Asian lies and propaganda on a daily basis harms me mentally at least as much as the lawnmower outside (not explaining what I mean by this for now).

Now, this brings up another strange and exceptionally unhealthy aspect of my condition. Even though I fully understand that these cowardly propagandists and ignorant slugs are inferior, their words still affect me. Disgusting. And the anger festers on and on.

It seems that the vast majority of humans are primarily abusers, exploiters, and torturers. From my observations, this is indeed what they derive the most enjoyment out of in life. Hello, wall.

This blog shall be mostly personal in nature. And, as it says at the top, I'll mostly be posting deranged, angry rants. Occasionally I plan to cover other, completely unrelated material. Who knows how it will take shape. We'll see.

I've needed one of these things for a long while, but never bothered to look into blogging in my over six years of internet misery. I always thought it was too complicated or something, when it's not. Dumbass.

Understand that I literally cannot communicate without either rambling or ranting, which should already be evident in this post. I also tend to use "I" a lot and obsessively talk about myself. I believe both of these are aspects of Asperger's Syndrome, but oh wait, that's just an "excuse" for my horrible personality, and the hand-flapping is just a wild coincidence. Right.
